Don't feel disheartened and demotivated by what can seem like a lack of opportunity in an increasingly overcrowded industry. Take your career into your own hands and get seen by the people that can get you work!
We have been producing actors showcases since 2006.
We only do 4 a year (2 in the Autumn, 2 in the Spring). This ensures we maintain a consistently high standard and for that reason we have built a reputation for quality.

What we do
Auditions, scene selection and rehearsal
We audition to find 16 actors (ideally 8 male, 8 female) to perform 8 duologues of 4-5 minutes each. We perform all duologues rather than monologues because in our experience casting directors and agents prefer to see you interacting with another performer. Once we have held auditions and selected a company of diverse and interesting actors, we meet as a company to partner up and choose scenes.
We try to make this process as organic as possible. Each actor brings a choice of at least 3 duologues that interest them and we hold a reading in which we experiment with different partners and scenes.
As far as possible actors choose their own partners and scenes from this reading. Don't worry if you are completely stuck, we will of course assist. We also have a vast range of duologues should you be struggling to find anything appropriate.
Once this process is complete, a professional director will rehearse your piece with you at a central london venue.
8 weeks before the showcase we will send out an e-mailout to 600 industry personnel.
4 weeks before the showcase a postal mailout will go out with a flyer containing all the actors headshots. This mailout covers 800 industry professionals, including agents, casting directors, producers, directors and writers.
1 week before the showcase we will do a further e-mailout as a reminder
Your headshot and a link to your spotlight CV will be on our website for agents and casting directors to view.
We will provide you with flyer invitations to include in your personal letters
Your CV, photograph and contact details will appear in the showcase programme
You'll have a tech/dress and two performances at the Leicester Square Theatre, London
The showcase will run at 45mins so that industry personnel can come in their lunch hour.
We'll serve champagne and nibbles to the showcase attendees
After the showcase
