Actors Showcases

Don't feel disheartened and demotivated by what can seem like a lack of opportunity in an increasingly overcrowded industry. Take your career into your own hands and get seen by the people that can get you work!

We have been producing actors showcases since 2006.

We only do 2-3 a year (1 in the Autumn, 1 (occasionally 2 in the Spring). This ensures we maintain a consistently high standard and for that reason we have built a reputation for quality.

What we do

Auditions, scene selection and rehearsal
We audition to find 16 actors (8 male, 8 female) to perform 8 dualogues of 4-5mins each. We perform all dualogues rather than monologues because in our experience casting directors and agents prefer to see you interacting with another performer. Once we have held auditions and selected a company of diverse and interesting actors, we meet as a company to partner up and choose scenes.
We try to make this process as organic as possible. Each actor brings a choice of at least 3 dualogues that interest them and we hold a reading in which we experiment with different partners and scenes.
As far as possible actors choose their own partners and scenes from this reading. Don't worry if you are completely stuck, we will of course intervene and assist. We also have a vast range of dualogues should you be struggling to find anything appropriate.
Once this process is complete, a professional director will rehearse your piece with you at a central london venue.
